Body Contouring

Significant weight loss either from dieting and exercise, or following a gastric banding or stapling, can result in areas of baggy skin on the inner arms, the lower abdomen, the hips, buttocks, jodhpur areas, inner thighs and knees. This can be unsightly and sometimes makes an individual feel self-conscious.

A systematic approach to recontouring these areas and careful positioning of scars can tighten the tissues and improve appearance.

Procedures may be single or combined (several areas of the body can be operated on at once). Surgery is performed under general anaesthetic. Depending on the procedure, recovery time varies between one and three weeks.
